How to Make a Dopp Kit for Your Dapper Dude

You know we’re all about organizing our own beauty essentials, but what about the dudes in our lives? They need a stylish way to carry their toiletries as well. We teamed up with Velcro Industries and JoAnn Fabrics to bring you a next level sewing project: a dopp kit for your dude. This is definitely a step or two above Sewing 101, and is a great way to challenge yourself in that department. We got everything we need at JoAnn’s, making this an easy go-to gift that you should definitely bookmark for the holidays. Materials :

Get Ready for St. Patrick’s Day With This Fancy Clover Crown

Whether you call it St. Patrick’s Day or St. Paddy’s, there’s one thing we know for sure about March 17: It’s a great day for a party! If you’re like us, you’re thinking about getting a bubbling green cocktail and whipping up some magically delicious treats. And once you’re done with all the foodies, don’t forget to add a green touch to your outfit: like a themed mani or this cute crown we’ve just made ;)
 Materials and Tools:
  • light green and dark green felt
  • floral wire
  • scissors
  • Sharpie
  • glue gun + glue sticks

 Instructions:
1. Wrap the wire around your head twice, and leave extra for the hook. Cut and fold in half, creating a rounded shape.
2. Take the felt and draw a clover with your Sharpie. Then cut it.
3. Repeat using both the light felt and the dark one.
4. Grab a hot glue gun and glue some clovers in place.
5. Keep on adding clovers until you’re completely satisfied with the final result.

First, double measure the wire around your head, and leave an extra inch for the hook. Cut and fold in half, creating a rounded shape. Next, take the felt and draw a clover with your Sharpie. Cut it and repeat using both the light green felt and the dark one. At this point, use the glue gun to glue some clovers in place. Keep on adding clovers until you’re completely satisfied with the final result. Voilà, you’re ready to wear your crown.
We have a feeling you’ll be extra lucky this year!
